Pros and Cons of upgrading T24 from R16 to R23 vs Re-implementing T24 R23

Hi there, Has anyone performed analysis of T24 R16 vs T24 R23 and established if upgrading would be a better approach or re-implementing R23?
Also if anyone can share R23 content as I don't have access to Temenos basecamp.

very much depends on the business side. If business massively requires new modules instead of local developments - probably a new installation would be OK.
Also, if you have TAFC it would be a pain in the,,, you know .. to port all to TAFJ since Temenos won't produce a new installation on TAFC.
 

Thanks VK for your input. So does T24 R23 use TAFJ only? I thought it can run on both TAFC or TAFJ framework?

right, you can upgrade to R23 on TAFC. I did it already in test mode (R19 => R23 TAFC).

If you ask Temenos for "clean" R23 distribution they most probably answer "TAFJ only".
