Migration T24 release R8 to R12

If we want to migrate our system as R8 to R12, could anyone tell me the basic that I need to prepare in advance for this plan

Hi Kda,

If you want to migrate from r08 to r12, lot of things have to be taken into consideration.

First is scoping. Which tables are to be migrated. Ex.
1. Static - Customer, Account, Limit.
2. Finacials - LD,MM,PD,FX,FT
3. balance transfers.
Strategy for Moving Financial Contracts.
Matching GL in the end.

Once the scoping is done, you have to start development of scripts using DM Tools and go for Mock uploas.

Btw are you going for an upgrade or migration.

If you go for upgrade, then data migration is not required.
