Greetings!

We are working in a R8 to R11 upgrade project. Request you to share the challenges met and solutions implemented or critical things to be governed in testing, may be in the form of check list.

Thanks in advance.

Just some possible pitfalls:

ACCOUNT.PARAMETER -> UPDATE.PL.ACTIVITY
AC.AUTO.ACCOUNT -> USE.MAX.SUB.ACCT
ACCOUNT.ACCRUAL -> WRITE.ACCR.ACCT
DESKTOP.PARAMETER -> ACTIVITY.LOG
PL.CLOSE.OUT.PARAMETER -> new / changed fields

Use the service BUILD.BASIC.INTEREST.DATE else you loose accrued interest

If you use desktop you might face a lot of ENQUIRY not displayed as grid, look in TCSP FAQ for "grid enquiry displayed as page".
Also some new features for browser might be annoying, e.g. using .gif in drilldown and NOSORT option. Also some core EQ use fixed selection (e.g. contains) that is not available in desktop.

When using OFS the behaviour might be different due to changes in the TRANSACTION handling...

And not to forget the changes for Updates, not delivered EB.COMPILE, T24.BP instead of GLOBUS.BP ...

JUST REMEMBER ANOTHERONE :
You should allow access to ENQUIRY.SELECT for all users with at least L S or nobody is able to use drilldown etc.
