universe to jbase conversion

hi all
i am a new member to this group

any one no how to convert the universe database to jabase using the JGLOBUS.CONVERT and JBASE.COVERSION if you have any document please post it

It is better if you use Temenos utility JUPORT. This reduces dramatically the time neede to conversion.

JGLOBUS.CONVERT is a UniVerse program i.e. you will run it from the UniVerse prompt in the GLOBUS run account (bnk.run for example). It works by reading a starting directory, which you specify, walking down the entire directory tree, it extracts the data from UniVerse files it finds and passes the data to a jBASE program, JGLOBUS.COPY.JBASE, to be written to a jBASE file of the same name in a target directory.
