Can someone elaborate the difference between jBase locks and globus locks and how they occurs. I have removed the stale lock by deleting the jbase lock file from the folder /tmp/jbase in a COB hung situation. Also, deleted a record from F.RECORD.LOCK to remove another lock in some other scenario.

Can someone tell me difference between the two. Can both these be used interchangeably.
I am a layman in T24.
