LD has a set a properties that are predetermined by Temenos. Accordingly the conditions of the product are fixed. AA on the other hand gives you the flexibility of creating your own properties and conditions for a product. Of course there are some mandatory properties that you need to include while creating your own product without which a product cannot be created/published. In short you can say

LD - A predefined product by Temenos for Banks,
AA Loans - Customized LD created by Banks themselves within T24.

LD works with every installation and "out of the box"

The AA module provides a flexible framework that allows a number of new T24 modules to be created. The application provides a business component based architecture for the management of products. Arrangements is part of the Retail Banking suite of products.

You need AA and AL module (??), it has predefined products but works only with browser (??)

using R11 on Unix
