PD.AMOUNT.TYPE was created by mkht24all
We have added a new PD.AMOUNT.TYPE under CH like CH01 but system did not allow to use it in PD.CAPTURE and LD. what could be the reason ? system through error Too Many Character

PaymentType in PD.CAPTURE is can be only a base type
Don't know where you use it in LD...
PAYMENT.TYPE
Indicates the type of payment which is overdue. This field is part of an associated multivalue set.
Validation Rules
2 alphanumeric type A characters. (Mandatory input. Associated multivalue field). Must be a valid entry on the PD.AMOUNT.TYPE file. The values allowed are "PR", "IN", "CH", "CO" and "TX".
Don't know where you use it in LD...

where other types (Other than base type of PD.AMOUNT.TYPE) can be used ?
We have two option to generate PDs automatically by system like PDLD, PDMD etc or manually through PD.CAPTURE which create PDPD

As user jpb has indicated, validation rules do not allow more than 2 characters in the field you mentioned.
Another option would be to add a local reference field to the application to validate whatever you need.
