Dear friends,
I would like to add additional information in the MT 950 message. May i know which tag and which field, i can able to use. As an additional info, I have tried in Field tag 61, Narrative field, it is not accepted by swift. Can anybody help on this?

There is no free format field available in 950, only 940 offers TAG 86 to send "Information to Account Owner".
If you use subfield 9 (Supplementary Details) of TAG 61 it will reference to a specific transaction and can be max. 34 characters.

I need to add as per every specific transaction, so i too prefer the same tag. I have tried to add my additional value in this subfield9 - supplementary details. it was not accepted by swift and it was less than 34 characters. But i have some characters like '/'. Can you please tell us, is there any restriction for this field values and also if possible please send me any guide or online link to explain about this character restrictions. Thank you.
