Printing To Server from T24 browser

Hello,

I have an issue with browser whereby we cannot print directly from the server. When we click on the print to server option we get a message saying 'Message from T24 Enquiry printed: 15600000204378500' then gives the HOLD.CONTROL ID of what has been printed. The only way to print this is to go to HOLD.CONTROL put in the ID, in this case 15600000204378500 then click on actions and verify. This then prints the enquiry.

My question is, how can I print directly by clicking on the print to server option? Are there any additional settings that are needed in browser?
P.S. in desktop, print to server is working fine. It sends the enquiry to the printer
Also, spooler works just fine.

you need to setup a network printer in the branch and that network printer needs to be configured on the JBASE server and T24 end.

This is a very basic setup that you require and can be done easily using the standard printing setup guides of T24. Please refer to the standard guides and follow them stepwise

We are using R08 and when you click on the print locally button, it prints a screen shot!!! This is not acceptable to the users unfortunately...

you need to setup the Browser preferences as Server

I again repeat please read the printer setup manual of T24 standard.

T24 printing mechanism is very difficult and more of annoying. This is why our bank is ultimately buying a third party printing solution.

However your problem is no issue if you setup a printer in jbase and t24 correctly
