Lead Companies setup

Folks,

We are currently implementing T24 R9. Based on the client's requirement, we would have to setup a Multi-company structure: Lead company for each region, and several branches under that lead company (region-wise).

Has anyone created multiple Lead companies? I have read the T24 document for multi-company and the instructions are there. However, i would prefer to confirm from someone who has created multiple companies before. What practical difficulties are there during the process to create Lead companies and the branches. Is it possible to repeat the mnemonic for the branch companies, for example mnemonic A01 for branch 1 under Lead company 1 and mnemonic A01 for branch 11 under Lead company 2 ??
