Invalid ID for Company

Hi mates,

I am trying from ACCOUNT module by press F3 to create a new account and I get the message " Invalid ID for Company".
Does anyone has any idea how I will avoid this?

Change your USER profile by giving access to all the companies.

and the error message screen ,

we may try to identify your problem...

CHECK COMPANY RECORD.

I faced the same issue today. The settings in INTERCO.PARAMETER solved it.
In my setting,
BRANCH.CODE.LENGTH is 1

So, first letter in account ID is taken as branch code. when account ID's first letter matches with BRANCH.CODE of the corresponding company in INTERCO.PARAMETER, system allows to create the account.

AUTO.ID.START should be set with same ID format for the new company. Then system will fetch next ID available when F3 is pressed.

In browser it is creating the company based on the BRANCH.code and AUTO.ID.START. But in classic mode, still it throws INVALID ID FOR THE COMPANY. Please clarify
