Windows Vista - Desktop 1.5.1

I have installed Desktop 1.5.1 after installing VBRUNTIME 50 and 60 and registering SysTray.ocx as mentioned in some of the earlier threads.
Trying to login, I always get the following message:
"Could not login to server. A connection was established but negotiation was unsuccesful.Ensure that your login and password are correct."
If I click on the Options button, the login freezes.
I am however able to connect to the database through QVT. So it is a Desktop problem.
Can anyone help me, please.
Regards.

The reported error message refers to some error in the negotiation script that is used for communication between the Desktop and the T24 server. The script is actually mentioned in a file called negoc.txt found in the Desktop install directory of your machine (default location: C:\Program Files\Temenos\GLOBUS Desktop 1.5).
I suspect that the script is not in sync with the T24 login in your server. It would help me to analyze further if you could send the screen shot of T24 login thru QVT and the negoc.txt file.
Morever, since you have mentioned that the OS is Windows Vista, have you used the Windows Vista installer to install Desktop.

Many thanks for your reply.
1. The QVT login screenshot and Negoc.txt in the attachments.
2. I am not aware of a vista installer. I just double clicked on "Globus Desktop 1.5.001 full installer."

I have solved this problem by editing negoc. Have tested on Windows 7 as well.
Thanks for your responses.

1.Download SysTray.ocx from this link: www.martin2k.co.uk/vb6/vb6download4.php
2. Copy to \windows\system32
3. Goto dosprompt by typing "CMD" in "RUN"
4. Type "regsvr32 systray.ocx". You should get a message that it is succesfully registered.
5. Now install Desktop 1.5.1.
6. Enjoy.

I am facing the same problem in Windows Vista , I am able to login through QVT but not through GUI. When I login through GUI and check on Show Progress --

CURRENT TERMINAL SET TO: EBS-GUIEBS supported terminals are... 1.EBS
Enter your terminal type or <return> for no change
and it prompt me to login to the System
When I login into globus, as soon it open throw me error message , application missing and left side of Menu doesnt contain any apoplication
Please reply what changes are required in Negoc.txt
