There is the possibility in T24 to attach images or other kind of files. Are there any limitations related to this functionality e.g size of file, numbers of files. For instance if there is pdf file like 100 pages what would be the performance impact; how long does it take to attach the file like that and later to open the attachment etc. Does anybody have such experience (information)?

Hi,
This can be achieved in GLOBUS through IM module. Kindly refer Globus manuals. There are few important files are
IM.DOC.IMAGE.PARAMETER
IM.IMAGE.TYPE
IM.DOCUMENT.IMAGE

I think the main limitation is the speed of the network across your branches or across anybody who wants to use it.
in our case the speed of the network between branches was also the problem. So we did something like a distribution. We used it for scanned signatures for the accounts. So all the signatures were scanned (new one) and stored on one central server. then during the night (when the traffic was smaller) we distributed/synchronised the signatures between the main server and the branch servers. Then the users had a switch option - either by the default it checked for the signature on the branch server and if not found then on the central server. Sometimes some of the signatures or any other documents had up to 1-5 MB. but major was on average about 32-50KB.
