Dear all,
It has been found that when a wrong account number is keyed into T24, the system does not reject it but rather accept it by way of adding another number if is a client account and by creating a new account –record automatically opened if it’s a n internal account.
Example in debiting GHS 174200100006 instead of GHS 174200010006 the system will accept it as Record Automatically Opened and it will not prompt you that the account number is wrong.
Please let me know if we can put some restriction on the account opening process.

I'm not aware there is any core-functionality like this. Are you sure the account hasn't been automatically opened BEFORE you mistyped the number ??
