Account File on Hold -Entries not updated

Good day all
i have asn issue Where the existing Account has been put on hold. ACCOUNT FILE not updated with transactions
Example
i have an existing account bal 1000
i do a static change and by mistake put the account on Hold
i go to pass a teller, or FT Entry for 200
There is no Overide to say the account is on hold
The stmt.entry gets updated and the eb.contract balnces gets updated with the 200.00
However when i go to the core file AC S the 200 Does not reflect as the last credit entry
Yet the stmt.entry and the eb.contract balances are updated.

i then authorise this account. and suddenly the 200 has updated the account file

1. This issue is here, that Temenos advised this is core functionality and this how it Work s
i do not beleive this, cos i am beginning to wonder where is the 200 stored before i authorise the account file
AND WHY WOULD THE OTHER FILES GET UPDATED

can I know your release, Have tested your case in R08004 but not as u said, it updates the account record even in IHLD status.

Could you try to use "I"nput function in ACCOUNT instead of S , check balances and lets us know.

I guess it would have updated in file called ENTRY.HOLD
