COB issue was created by L6988932
Hello everyone,

while trying to implement a COB, I am facing various issues and after having a look on this site I found many consultants
suggesting to clear the batch.status and tsa.status. Unfortunately as I am new i dont know how and where to place
those 2 commands. Any help would be appriciated,
Thanks in advance.

Hi
firstly you don't just clear tables without prior knowing what to do. Let us all know your platform (TAFC or TAFJ) and T24 release.

Cheers

Hi
I suppose DBTools is what you want.

The jQL command is CLEAR-FILE.. use it with caution!

On my previous company, This is the pre-requisite on running a cob

1. CLEAR.FILE F.EB.EOD.ERROR
2. CLEAR.FILE F.PROTOCOL

P.S. Please note that the current data records can be deleted. However the good practice is to edit the EB.EOD.ERROR and check for the errors and resolve the same by contacting temenos or local development. The DATE.RESOLVED should be set for the errors whose FIX.REQUIRED is set to Y failing to which will not be able to run the next cob.
