ASSET.TYPE parameter was created by mmanick2
In ASSET.TYPE parameter table found 3 fields SC.MARGIN.RATE , TOP UP MARGIN and SELL OUT MARGIN. What is the significance/usage of these 3 fields? If i assigned some values on these fields then on which scenario these values are consider for evaluation?

If I am not mistaken TOP.UP.MARGIN & SELL.OUT.MARGIN are introduced in R11 release of T24. These two fields are used for Margin Calls.
You can refer from www.investopedia.com/terms/m/margincall.asp#axzz1tCkZx8Pm
for Margin Call.
If values are specified in these fields then SEC.ACC.MASTER & SC.POS.ASSET gets updated with amounts in TOP.UP.MARGIN.AMT & SELL.OUT.MARGN.AMT.
Always SC.MARGIN.RATE is only used to calculate the margin value of asset/liability to be used in portfolio valuations.
