COB error

Hi,

I got this error few time durin the COB process. What is the real reason for this...

** Error [ EXIT_TRANS_ABORT ] **
TRANSACTION ABORT forced as transaction open when program terminated

I have seen this when there are lockings while running the COB and when the lock cannot be released within the time specified in the TSA.PARAMETER > DEATHWATCH the session will get timed out throwing this error. It also happens when some process cannot be performed within the time specified in the DEATHWATCH, check your comos to see which process is hanging, perhaps it could be a SELECT on a large file, record locking.

I've checked the locks (show-item-locks) also. But the list was empty. Then I skipped the batch and restart the COB but, this error appears to again and again.

Any background process (debug....) related to this error ???

check in your como during which process you get this error, may be if u post the como can have a look.
