Hi All!

I run T24 but i received a message "Unexpected error; quitting."
I do not know this error and a can't run T24.
Please help me to fix this error.

Hello,

Do you still have this problem?

Are using Desktop / Browser?

Try logging in with Telnet/Reflection where you should get a clearer error details.

Are you using Windows XP or Vista?
This problem was reported here earlier for Vista and the solution was to download a new Desktop version.

What T24 release are you using?
Is it the first time you use Desktop on this workstation?
Did it worked before and stopped working? If yes, what changed?
Does other workstations manage to login?

I USING WINXP, T24 release 1.4 build 29
it is nomal, no change but one day it has error.

I'm using Globus Desktop 1.4 and have the same error. I've solved it by disabled UAC feature on Vista. But I wonder where to download newer version for Globus Desktop? Thanks.

First, regarding Vista you can see the topic "GLOBUS Desktop installation in Vista" as well as a document in the Downloads section.

A newer version of Desktop should be obtained from Temenos.

I use Windows XP and it's member a domain. i install Desktop 1.4 by account admin local. I run it by account domain users but it have error. I do as support.microsoft.com/kb/189472 but it still error.

Try allowing port 23 for telnet on the windows firewall or any firewalls you have installed on the pc
