How to become a T24 expert

Hi all T24 experts,

I am just wondering how to become a T24 expert. What is the best way to become T24 expert? Many years of experience, coding, problem resolution, bug fixing, issues investigation, functional and technical specifications reading?

Please let me know thoughts of T24 master. What do you suggest, what are your advices, ideas? What shall I do to become a T24 expert?

Let me share my personal experience with T24 and the knowledge required to become an expert.

I started with a short course about funcionallity related to CUSTOMER, ACCOUNT, USER, LIMIT, VERSION, ENQUIRY, programming and BUILD.CONTROL. I have learned about applying Release and Patches, COB execution and basic accounting. I've worked 3 years with R05, R06 and R07 solving interfaces and product problems.

I've searched for documentation with Temenos and people that worked with T24, but it's hard to get the manuals to learn.

In Mexico many of the problems are related to communications and products design.

My hope is to learn more about Java and other technologies.Good luck for you and keep the search for the T24 expertise, maybe we get it soon.

Some of them are very kind people that helps providing support to answer questions but many others aren't so comprehensive..."
To become an expert, we must to try our best.

I would like to ask if anyone is aware of any course material available to purchase for the T24 of if any companies offer remote / online training? I am especially interested in modules used in private banking and asset management.

One needs to identify in which field he/she needs to expertise themselves. Technical or Functional. Those who know both are categorised as Techno Functional. Best way to learn would be to focus on the area of interest and keep sharing knowledge with other people. In T24, apart from reading the manuals and working on handsons/production scenerios, only other people can make you an Expert!
