Hello All,
I have total 6 years of experience in T24, 3 years in COB and 3 years in Environment support. I wish to move on to specific learnings but in the dark on what to choose.
There are so many options in TLC pathway, however, some fields caught me eyes.
And TAP comes under Wealth Management pathway or something else?
Please guide me on what is the best and what's in demand.

hi
it depends on who you want to be in the future...
Migration
Upgrade
- is expanding your current admin-like role...
Wealth Management
AA
... leads you out of technical path into business analysis.
I know many people with technical background that became good BAs ... almost no one vice versa :))

Hello VK,
I truly wish to seek more of your guidance.
Let me be more elaborate about my career background and what I am looking for.
11 years of total IT experience. First 5 years in incident & change management, then 6 years of T24 (3 years in COB and 3 years in environment management).
I wish to change job. But the requirement and expectations are high, given my experience in IT and T24. I wish to gain mastery in something specific in T24. (I realize that the market is down now, but I wish to be ready when things get better).
I have zero experience in programming (EEE background and no interest). I have fair knowledge on understanding routines and java but not looking to expand technically.
I wish to gain mastery into something else. I understand that it takes a lot of time, but never gonna give up. In TLC pathways, I can see many sections, such as Core, Wealth Management, Upgrade, Migration, Project Management, etc. Each look interesting and challenging. This makes me wonder, is everyone choosing a single section to master such as Upgrade or Securities? If yes, do they also know other sections?
These silly questions aside, what I really lack and want to know is, I wish to choose a section and master it. But I get the following doubts.
Thanks,
Ganesh Ram

- I fear if mastering one section alone will be enough?
- What if there is no demand for that section. For eg. If I completed every learning and exam in T24 upgrade, will I be seen as very valuable for the new job?
- Eg. Only If there is opening in Securities, will I be considered for hire in a company?
- What will you or anyone in a project expect when hiring?
- Given my experience in T24 and IT, what will the hiring company expect from me?
Thanks,
Ganesh Ram

Hi
hard to say what hiring companies expect... You can try to browse T24-related job descriptions on LinkedIn or other job sites (say, in your country or in other country/countries if you're into relocation).
In my understanding, Temenos world is divided mostly into:
- technical area
- business analysis
- tests management
- project management
- sales
... whatever is more interesting to you.
Don't forget, there's much bigger world outside Temenos :))
