To be honest I never used upgrader - we are on R08.
But the line indicating "FINE: tarEntry " and then nothing looks like the well known error when you have an empty line (too much) in any file that is processed.
What about /R09_AA_Framework_71 itself?

Yoshan,

I have worked on Temenos Updater to update R10 build on a Windows 64 bit platform. Can you share details about OS?

Hello Yoshan,

1) You should have gtar to untar updaters.
2) updater directory should present in bnk.run.
3) under updater directory you will see updates directoy, in that you put updates.
4) check JED SYSTEM TEMP.RELEASE, it should point to bnk.run
Exp:
jsh-> JED SYSTEM TEMP.RELEASE
1 D
2 /t24/bnk/bnk.run

Hope this will help you.

Seems to be an issue with GTAR you are using for your OS. Get in touch with Temenos to know the recommended version for your OS. I had more or less a similar issue while using updater in Windows platform. After using the appropriate version of GTAR, updater went smooth.

Hi All,

I have tried to install updates manually using following command but unfortunately my bnk area crashed after it.

/t24prod/bnk/bnk.run/t24bin/eb_updates/T24.UPDATE.INSTALLER -installpath /t24prod/bnk/bnk.run -updatefile /t24prod/bnk/bnk.run/updater/updates/T24Updates/R09_EB_Security_21_AIX_5.tar

If any one encountered such situation pls reply me.

Thanks,
