T24 Upgrade from R5 to R8.02

Hi,
I am currently upgrading from R5.007 to R8.02.
After running EB.COPY.GLOBUS.JBASE successfully, running T24.PRE.RELEASE threw up the following eror:

jsh test ~ -->T24.PRE.RELEASE
Non-numeric value -- ZERO USED ,
Variable '(UNKNOWN)' , Line 193 , Source I_COMMON
** Error [ PERFORM_NULL ] **
Attempt to PERFORM a NULL command line , Line 19 , Source T24.PRE.RELEASE
jsh test ~ -->

Please do any body have any suggestion?

Hi,

Probably before starting T24.PRE.RELEASE you might need to login to T24 from Classic and then get back to jBASE prompt. This will initialize internal common variables and the program will perform correctly.
