Hi,

Can anyone please provide the logic to write the Password Reset routine used in T24-Upgrade.
Currently I am upgrading from R8(Windows) to R12(Linux).

Hi JPB,

As "Password Reset" is being a part of upgrade which comes after the RUN.CONVERSION services executed.
For this part a routine is to be written but how I donno. Because once upgrade is done the older passwords may not work as they expected to do,

I have come across PASSWORD.RESET application but how to use it,can you please explain it?

Best Regards,

Have a look at www.t24all.com/index.php/component/kunen...ord-resets.html#9021, there you'll find the two ways that can be used.
If you decide to clear the PW-field in USER directly be aware that the login is free to anybody . . .
