Resolving Undefined Lines entries was created by dfixx
Dear All,
Recently we have been having figures building up on undefined line(due to unassigned products/entry) on the Trial Balance, I hope I can find help from anyone who could help me with clear and simple way to correct this problem. Is there a manual I can study or which is the easy way to correct the entries so that they can go to their proper line.
I can see using my detailed trial balance report all the consols and the figures making up the undefined lines BUT how to correct it and reassign is my challenge.
You kind help is appreciated.
Thank you

Temi,
This depends on the Type of Entries posted to Catch All (Undefined Line).
If you know how to setup RE.STAT.REP.LINE, then identify each of these entries and map them into groups. Then you can setup either new lines or add multi-values into the existing lines etc.
Regards,
Shanthi

... and don't forget to run RE.RECALC.REP.LINES :)

Temi,
Since u have got the below the lines that was not mapped; all u need to do is to check CATEGORY CODE and the assset type in each CONSOLE KEY and then ask the FINCON STAFF or check in the where they are mapped. Then, don't forget to "recalculate the lines" in VERIFY mode if ONLINE; OTHERWISE COB will do the calculation.
thank u.
