Dear Jay,

You can have a program written which would do a select on RE.STAT.LINE.CONT and then do another select on Consol Files e.g. RE.CONSOL.CONTRACT (based on the application defined in RE.STAT.LINE.CONT) etc. and display as result the transactions associated with the line from the STMT, CATEG or RE.CONSOL.SPEC.ENTRY. Or you can even make that prgoram consolidate transactions based on your defined criterea. Thus constructing your Trial Balance.

Such things are normally done in DW to avoid performance issues in Live Systems but you can always try and see how it goes.

By the way, there is an inbuilt trial balance report in T24, you might also want to look at it to see if it fits your requirement. Or if you are looking for Consolidation by Line for Accounts and Contracts, you might want to look at RE.STAT.BAL.REC which can be created through CRF.MENU.

Hi,
a) There are several reports attached to the application RE.STAT.BAL.REC.
The descriptions available in the records will basically tell you what the report is for. This should help you find the appropriate report for your requirement.
b) Attach the report to the application RE.STAT.BAL.REC and verify the record while the report will be generated and saved in &HOLD&
c)The id of the HOLD.CONTROL record could be fetched using the "USER" verifying the RE.STAT.BAL.REC.

There is an enquiry RE.STAT.LINE.CONTENT based on the file RE.STAT.LINE.CONT.This might be something that you are looking for too.

Hope this is of some help.
Cheers
