OFS Open Financial Service provides a standard interface to allow update and interrogation of GLOBUS application .
OFS allows on-line communication on a single message basis using a TELNET connection, or as a BATCH process
where a directory is populated with records in either a particular file, or several files.

BATCH:
A Batch connection will usually run as a background Phantom task initiated by the EB.PHANTOM application.
This will examine a specified directory (the IN.QUEUE.DIR ),or checking the entire directory for files to process.
The processed records will be written to the out directory (OUT.QUEUE.DIR).
The incoming message file will be deleted once the message has been processed.
The batch connection will support GTS syntax messages or OFS syntax messages

SOURCE.TYPE BATCH

TELNET:

The telnet connection will only accept OFS syntax messages.

SOURCE.TYPE TELNET

AFTER OFS IS CREATED GO TO JSHELL PROMPT AND TYPE call ofs.connection.manager (with ofs.source id)
and type ofs message output will be displayed in the prompt
u can check it
