Setup ACCOUNT.STATEMENT - SWIFT.STMT.TYPE = 940 - STMT.FQU.1 = yyyymmddBSNSS
and review DE.PRODUCT - ...940.ALL / DE.ADDRESS - ...SWIFT.1 for your customer
and review DE.PRODUCT - ...940.ALL / DE.ADDRESS - ...SWIFT.1 for your customer

If you don't want statement to be generated during COB, then in DE.PARM specify field PRINT.BYPASS as 940. So that statement is not generated instead file AC.STMT.HANDOFF gets updated, from where you can later generate through a service PRINT.STATEMENT.

What does "is not generating" mean?
Do you find them in DE.O.HEADER but they are not send?
Have you defined both in SWIFT.STMT.TYPE or do you use SW.STMT2.TYP as well?
