How to convert dimensions in cm to rows and columns when designing deal slip?

Hi guys,

I'm trying to desgin a deal slip form for a cheque, how can I know how many rows and columns will I need in the form for specific dimensions in cm?

Hi
depends on your printer and font and settings used.

"Normal" printing mode usually fits into one line 80 characters on A4 list and 132 in "condensed" mode.

Look at your DE.FORM.TYPE record D.SLIP and to PRINTER.ATTRIBUTES application for more info.
