Account Creation error was created by simbu

Dear friends,

I am facing below error when I create an Account in R18.

I have created a new company and I want account digits to be 8.

So I have setup that in INTERCO.PARAMETER , Account length as 8, created a AUTO.ID.START also for ACCOUNT.

Account mask in company is ########.

But when I do ACCOUNT I F3.

system says TOO FEW MNEMONIC CHAR

Please help me resolving it.

this error is resolved. But still my account @ID is still 011-8109X-WW4H

But i want it to be 8 digit.

LIST F.LOCKING 'FXXX.ACCOUNT'

.. where XXX is your new company mnemonic.
