BATCH & COB

Hi all,
can anyone plz help me in batch processing.The problem is as follows
When we run a particular service as a batch the following error is coming
tSA 2 -debug
Agent 2 started 09 jul 08
Running on server localhost.locadomain portnumber 11
agent stopped.
plz, give me suggestions what i need to do or anything to setup.

First, make sure that there are no acitve TSM or tSA processes, after that clear file F.TSA.STATUS, then I think you should be able to start tSA without problems.

You can try deleting the records in F.TSA.STATUS and re-try starting the COB.

You Have to chechk the list of EB.EOD.ERROR you will be find un an critical record

I assume from your post that you are running a specific online service and not the COB. If that is so, your problem could be one of the following,

Your SERVICE.CONTROL field in TSA.SERVICE is flagged to STOP
Your BATCH record has a batch stage mentioned, an online service with a batch stage will not run
Your TSA.STATUS has a previous record for the agent no. 2 which is conflicting

Check the above in the same order and i think your problem should be solved

The feed back you received from Mr.Samuraj,Madhan,Mohamed ould Mahmoud and Aditya is very positive and right procedure.
While I am running the COB batch processing, I have check list, exactly what the above gentalman had mentioned and I followed before starting the COB batch process.
