Print messages for LD and LC was created by vmajish
Hello All,
You all have a wonderful week....
I need some help with the delivery setup of PRINT type messages for LD and LC modules.
I have sample advices for LD and LC transactions from the client's present system which was prepared manually by the users. We are required to configure all these print advices in T24 delivery module. As the first step, I was trying to get the relevant message types to be used for each of the below advices. Would you please help to answer my queries below. many thanks.
Export Purchase Bill - Advice for bill - DA Bills
Export - Advice for payment - DA Bills
Export Purchase Bill - Advice for bill - DP Bills
Export - Advice for payment - DP Bills
DA/DP Bills not Purchase - Advice for payment
LC Issuing - Advice for charges
Import Bill Payment under L/C - Advice for Settlement
Import collect bill payment - Advice for Settlement
Export Documents under L/C - Advice for collection
Export Documents under L/C - Advice for Discount
Export Documents under L/C - Advice for Payment
All Bills type - Advice for Acceptance
1. what are the message types (like 900, 910, etc...) for each of the above advices that I can use
2. I couldnt find any document to refer to find out relevant PRINT messages for the above advices. are there any docs from Temenos ?
3. I assuming when I input a type LC contract, core will generate all basic print messages required for that contract type? is that right?
4. Would I need to create a new message type for any of the above advices?
5. For LD advices, I see LMM.ADVICES file to control the generate of delivery messages from the core. whats the purpose of this file? and I dont see similar file for LC module?
Many Thanks
Ajish

To get started have a look in EB.ADVICES (for LC), LMM.ADVICES/LMM.ACTIVITY (for LD) and DE.FORMAT.PRINT (search for ...LD... and ...LC...), some things will clarify.
The documentation, if it exists, may be spread in the module documents and the Delivery guides.
