Adhoc Credit Interest capitalisation was created by Mashiringo
I am using T24 R12 and would like to achieve the following:
1. Allow capitalization of Credit Interest once at mid month as opposed to the usual month end.
2. After the capitalization, I then want to stop accrual of Credit interest forever.
Can anyone assist on going about this.
Thank you in advance.

Hi
Can you please check the parameter table ACCOUNT.ACCRUAL where we can define the interset accrual date but not sure how to setup only for Credit Interest.
Regards,
Karthik

In GROUP.ACCRUAL.PARAM you can define frequencies for separate interest types but you can't set accrual to NONE.
To capitalize all interest you can change the frequency in GROUP.CAPITALISATION.
If you set the frequency in GROUP.ACCRUAL.PARAM to the same as in GROUP.CAPITALISATION you might get the accrual booked in and out at the same day . . . (or even not booked at all)
