Am trying to use SEAT to post a transaction to T24 & get the time taken for that process & related details like IO read, etc.
Even with option like GENERATE & SINGLE.UPLOAD in the SEAT.TEST table the transactions are not posted.
Am new to SEAT, can anyone help me on this issue. If you have any document on the configuration & usage of SEAT please sent to me.
Thanks & Regards,
Deepak

System Engeneering Automated Testing
-
-
Currently System Engineering Automated Testing (SEAT) based infrastructure is available for testing both technical and functional aspects of T24.
-
-
While T24 Technical Testing performs a trace analysis to record I/O, calls made, path length, warnings etc. for every transaction (online & COB), T24 functionality testing would focus on deriving the ‘expected’ business results at the boundary of each transaction and compare against the actual updates to identify ‘exceptions’.
- The overall objective is to build an Automated Testing System, which helps to manage
-
•The testing inputs (Scripts) , Setting-up and managing a library of Test Cases (SEAT Scripts) which can be injected on every T24 build (any shipment from System Engineering).
-
• Evaluate the test results

Hi jpb!I've got a version of the User Guide as of end 2008.
But I can't upload, it's too big (even as .zip)
Send me your E-mail by private message.
I haven't find private message functionality available now, so I have to try to ask here. Hope you'll see that.
Could you please share SEAT guide to isildure24 [at] gmail.com if possible.
Thanks in advance!

I want to use SEAT to start automation of T24. I do not have idea how the SEAT will work for automating T24 application. Can some one share the document how to configure SEAT in model bank and start using SEAT as:
1) How to configure SEAT in model bank
2) How to write scripts/ Is that a record and play back?
3) How to run the scripts.
Please share the document to the email is : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
