Hi,

We have 2 T24 application servers on active-active setup (multi server module installed) connected to a jbase database server. On the same site we also have a second 'hot-standby' database server that is replicating the data using the replication mechanism of jBase transaction journaling. Questions:
1) jBase Extended Edition includes licences for transaction journaling and replication (jBase enterprise included them but now the naming has changed to Extended. Is it only naming change?)
2) In case the main database server fails, the hot-standby server will change his ip address to the ip of the main server and will become the main server. The question is: Is there any risk that the data replicated in the old 'hot-standby server' include half commited transactions or the replication mechanism transfers 'full' transactions?
3) The replication happens in synchronous or ansynchronous mode?

Thanks in advance
