I have used EFS Autoform, It is a Document management software.
But I suppose there are several other ways of doing this.

I too face the same issue, where Temenos core EMAIL.OUT service is sending the statement via Email in text message, But instead we need to send in PDF attachment. Could any one tell us, how did u achieve this? Moreover EFS autoform is temenos product, expensive and we need to buy to use this. Awaiting for the reply.

Hi,
I haven't used EFS in a long time, but like ashwinkumar has stated, you probably need to buy the product.
If buying such a product is not an option, then you should look into developing a local solution,
It should be possible to find open source programs for converting text to pdfs

I agree with your reply and I too thinking of getting java code to convert the message in pdf format, but i couldn't find it. Could any one help us to send the java code.

For plain pdf the free txt2pdf (or any other programm alike) can do the job quite easy.
As soon as you need real formatting, inserting of pictures etc. I fear you have to decide for a external tool, at least buy a pdf converter that can handle such.
If you want to do it on your own with java search for i-text.

We use pdf2txt for "printing" of reports and p-function (using COMMAND in PRINTER.ID).
For advices/statements we use an external print solution as well.
Maybe somebody using core can help.

Hi Again,
I have setup the DE.FORMAT.XML, DE.ADDRESS, DE.PRODUCT ... when I try to preview the email from the FT for a credit advice, I get a blank page with only "PREVIEW" written.
Is it possible to see a preview of the created email (I bilieve it should be in XML).
Any thoughts?
