Hello
How are you.. i am clearing logs of response 2 days before,&COMO& 3 days before,F_DE_O_MSG_SMS 2 days before after 15 days and &HOLD& 3 months before after 1 month,,,,, its decresed pre-post backup of 1 GB data, and now a days COB taking 7 hours...IS IT RIGHT which am doing ?? pls sir help me for further actions to take less time.

Just wanted to let you know that Clearing of the record in the directories or files doesn't in anyway reduce the File Size in jBASE.

ok sir,
but i have cleared logs of &HOLD& 3 months older, size was 13 GB of precob and now it is 9 GB but COB is taking same time bz its depend on transeactions.
any other way to reduce the COB time or any thing which is hide from me..??
