Can sme one help me to understand the use of heartbeat configuration in tcserver.xml file?.

Some time I get get

** Error [ BACKGROUND_STDIN ] **
Background job attempted to get INPUT data from keyboard
Line 52 , Source SERVICE.HEARTBEAT
