schedule tasks on T24

Hi all,

I am a java developer who is now starting do develop in T24. I would like to know the different types of ways to set up schedule tasks on T24. In the company i work for we run some programs after COB. How can i create schedule tasks in other ways?

Hi Turay,

Do you want to run those programs immediately after the COB? If answer is YES then you can call them in ONLINE jobs. Otherwise you can schedule it in TSA.WORKLOAD.PROFILE.

Since you want to run jobs after COB, you need to write JAVA programs and call them from routines attached in jobs at ONLINE stage. Alternatively, if you want to run jobs at specific times, you can schedule jobs by setting .bat files to be run in Windows or schedule CRON jobs in UNIX.
