Who is a customer?
What are the different types of Customer?

customer is the key to a bank on which it relies. As far i knew customers are of two types: 1. Corporate and 2.Retail

Customer is the whole and solo for bank endeavors.Types of Customers depends on which they are into...in the sence there may be customer belonging to Savings a/c, Durrent a/c, Loans etc.

To be specific,There are three types of Account -
Customer Type, Internal/Suspance Accont, P/L Account.
Customer type Accounts -- Current Account, Savings Account, Nostro Account, Vostro Account etc
Internal Accounts ---Cash Account, Suspense Account, Furniture Account etc
Profit & Loss Accounts -- Interest earned account, Salary account, Miscellaneous expenses account etc

A customer can be any of the below.

How can a broker become a customer to a bank?pls make it clear.

well let me tell u some thing that in T-24 customer and accounts are two different things.
Basically t-24 is customer centric it means customer is the main part or main application in T24 unlike other banks in T24 there is a seperate application to open a customer in which we have to fill all the data like his name , DOB , ID card number ,NTN his address , occupation etc.. why its is necessary ? after filling all these info. T24 will creat a Customer ID like 100613. now all u have to do is if u wana open a account for this customer just open an account apllication n just that customer no. ' 100613 ' t24 will fill all other fields automatically fatching from its customer data.you can access this customer from any where and from any branch of the bank.

we have many types depends upon your bank requirment normaly there are
Individual customer
corporate customer
minor customer
sole proprietor
