Setting up a table was created by vgupta33
I am new here and while reading the fields detail, I read to setup a table USER.EXTERNAL.FILED what does this mean? How can I setup this table? What is the meaning of ___.___.___ format (USER.EXTERNAL.FILED)?

Hi
post here your code; otherwise it's quite murky what you are doing

Hi VK thanks for replying I was reading this:

CLASSIFICATION
Indicates whether the User is 'Internal', i.e. an employee of the bank using T24., or 'External', i.e. a customer.

If the user is defined as EXT (external) then you should enter the valid customer and account numbers ino the fields CUSTOMER and ACCOUNT. You should also setup the table USER.EXTERNAL.FILED to indicate which fields in the applications you specify constitute a CUSTOMER and/or an ACCOUNT field.

I only want to know the code and steps to create a table in T24. What is the meaning of ____._____.____ format? (like USER.EXTERNAL.FILED means?)

Hi
if you want to create a new table in T24, read "Template programming" manual or check the help for application EB.TABLE.DEFINITION.
(though I'd suggest the former)
