FX ERROR: DEAL.TYPE FX AUTO ID NOT SET UP IN NL1 was created by Nash21979
Hi guys,
I stumbled accross this error when trying to insert a FX Swap Deal.
The AUTO.ID.START record is well comitted for the FOREX application and "usable" in transaction.
is there anything i'm missing?

Have you set up PGM.AUTOM.ID for FOREX in the respective COMPANY record ?
Some error related to MultiBook/Company for AUTO.ID with SWAP was fixed in R08(?).
A record for the specific company had to exist in F.LOCKING (FNL1.FOREX) even when NL1 is not the FIN company.

I didn't find a company specific F.LOCKING record despite it being auto pgm in the company.
can you please advise how to create said F.LOCKING record?

As mentioned this is a bug that has been fixed some years back so maybe better ask for an official patch.
You can look for the F.LOCKING from the FIN company and copy it as FNL1.FOREX and change the contents of line 1 and 2 to avoid duplicates in the numbering. I hope it will work.
e.g.
FNL1.FOREX
001 FX1629300001 --> Change to FX1629350001 to start at 50001 in company NL1 today
002 FX9415700001 --> Change to FX9415750001 to start at 50001 in company NL1 also on next dates
