I am in midst of preparing Training Material that can help on Tuning T24 for Performance.
I have handful of Topics to cover and interested in more.
Please share your thoughts to help me compile a comprehensive material and in return you can have a copy of the material once completed.
Kind Regards,

Generally Triggers are maintained at database level for notifications to update external interface , which affects the Performance of the database.
I suggest, We need to remove Triggers at the database level and make use of the facility of the subroutines which can be attached to ACCOUNT.PARAMETER > SYSTEM. This routine is triggerred within the Transaction Bounday of any entry generated either Consol or Statement. So necessary update can be done at this level instead of maintaing triggers at Application levels like STMT.ENTRY which are sensitive in nature.

there is no need to clean the files and stop the jboss specially if you use the NS module , but you can maintain the DB by monitering the size of the files , run archive to minimize the files size in addition to that try to unlock the hang processes from the DB level

Greate Job,If you are preparing document for performance tuning, I think it should cover,
1. How to monitor increased file size, so that user can re-size on time.
2. How to minimize COB time.
3. Archival procedure for rapidly grow files.
4. Making Distributed File system for large file.
5. Procedure to Identify Corrupted Files and repair.

If you have not added;
1) Use indexes to improve selection and search
2) Dos and Don'ts while writing subroutines
3) Resizing of work files used during COB
can also help improve performance.

By the way we are in the process to fine tune our COB time by
1) Try to exclude reporting from T-24 and make them available offline
2) Fine tune the code
3) Build indexes in order to make selection criteria fast
4) improve hardware infrastructure
