Skipton International, an offshore bank based in Guernsey (Channel Islands), has made a decision to modernise its core tech with Temenos’ T24.

As Banking Technology exclusively reported last year, Skipton International was pondering a replacement of its legacy in-house developed platform.

The decision in favour of Temenos has been made, it is understood, and the bank is now recruiting T24 resources.

Skipton International was set up in the mid-1990s. It offers a range of offshore savings accounts and mortgages.

Elsewhere, Temenos is implementing its T24 platform at Persia International Bank and British Arab Commercial Bank (BACB) in the UK, Commerce Bank in the US, and Bank of Ireland in Ireland.
