Account Closure Online problem

Dear All,

I want to ask about account closure Online by teller in R10
How the way to make Account Closure Online by teller effective on the same day?
Because i have the problem with that (always shown error BALANCE NOT ZERO)

you have first to login to the closure application and then you have to login to the teller application and it will defualt the balance and the accrud interest if there is

I had done this but the error still appear. What's the wrong with my way?

but i don't know why this can happen.. Whereas the balance (open, online etc) is zero

the reason for that is the account balances are not zero please have a view on the account to see what are the balances

the remaining balance is 5000 after withdraw amount on TT11061D4Q29 and it used for charges

this is the reason the system will calculate the interest and charges automatically so no need to keep any balances in the account , the balance must be zero

The charges was define when i want to do account.closure (with core functionality), and when do the teller transaction, the amount automatically cut with the charges amount.
Why this feel very different with r9 and more difficult to do precisely in r10? For closing the account can't be done..

We dont use teller but with FT, T24 creates an FT in Hold with charges.
Maybe you have the same in teller and have to authorize this first?

i'd try with FT too.. but still cannot close. the error still same : BALANCE IS NOT ZERO altough all the money had been withdraw.
The transaction was authorized but still that error always appear.
I was really confused with this situation.
Anyone can explain the step of account closure online with teller mode with charge?

looking at your screenshot there is a difference between value.date and process.date.
Shouldnt these be the same?

teller.default always state the value date on H+1 and cannot change. But in process date i want to get today. How this can be online?

i tested your case in my env. if there are any interest or charges on the account you want to close it you have to wait until the next working day becuase the system will capitalise thess things after that you can authorise the account.closure record if there is no interests or charges you can authorise the record on the same day , hope that this will help you

How the way to close online the account which have the capitalised interest? bcause in this babnk, the requirement is to give the customer accrued of interest till yesterday night

the system will calculate the interest to the previous day tor today interest it will be calculated during today COB so you have to credit the account with interest and charges and close it during the cob ( ONLINE CLOSE (N))
