MasterL created the topic: Getting next date from new frequency formats

T24 Version: R09
SP: None
OS: Windows

Anyone knows how to calculate the next date from the new frequency formats in T24 (20101010 e0Y e1M e0W oLD e0F) instead of the old format (20101010M0131)?

CFQ subroutine wont work with this format.

Thanx

IN2FQU
This routine will accept a frequency consisting of a start date and a period code. The date may be any valid date as for IN2D. If no date is entered, a date will be generated by advancing from the current bank date to the next period date.
The frequency code may be one of the following:
Frequency Description
DAILY Period of 1 day
WEEKLY Period of 1 week
WEEKN Period on N weeks
TWMTH Period ends on the 15th and last day of each month
MMDD Period of MM months ending on the DD day. If DD is an invalid day for the month the period will end on the last valid day.

As most of members of "IN2" family this routine works with COMI .
So I'm not sure would it help yo in your case.

I would better ask Temenos support ... probably better ;)

Many moons later, I should update with the solution:

The solution is to use
IN2FQU
with
EXTENDED, DATE
options.
FREQ = "e0Y e1M e0W oLD e0F" ;* Don't supply date as part of frequency

OLD.COMI  = COMI
COMI = FREQ
OLD.ETEXT = ETEXT
ETEXT = ""

NEXT.DATE = ""
YFQ.T     = "FQU"
YFQ.T<6>  = "DATE,EXTENDED"
CALL IN2FQU(30, YFQ.T)

NEXT.DATE = COMI [" ", 1,1] ;* or COMI[1,8]

COMI  = OLD.COMI
ETEXT = OLD.ETEXT

The system will use TODAY as the base date for calculating the next date. Be sure to check the ETEXT from IN2FQU call to pick any errors arising from the call.
