Hi,
some old developpement is using OGM to post an OFS message within the template at BEFORE.AUTH.WRITE: section,
it is working mostly fine, when inputting a deal in local APP, an OFS message is raised correctly,

but, in case of OFS transaction is having overrides, here comes the issue,
in classic mode it is working perfectly,
in browser: OFS.REQUEST.DETAIL is populated with no errors (seems that OFS transaction was processed correctly) but it doesn't,
local APP is not updated,
like if a abort TRANS was executed somewhere,

it is not possible to use OPM insteaf of OGM,

Any idea how to resolve this,

regards,
TAMI

Hi
OGM can't be triggered if there's something in current transaction cache.

I afraid you'll have to restructure your solution.

What exactly is updated in your local application?

Hi,
in fact, OGM is triggered at this stage with no problems, no cache related errors nether sensible action errors,
and it is working fine except when the OFS transaction which is an FT has overrides,

the concept is like this, we have one local application, when authorizing should raise an FT throudh OGM,
call of OGM is made within the template at BEFORE.AUTH.WRITE section,
everything is working fine, except when FT generates overrides, in this case , it works in classic mode but not in browser,

hope this clarify,

Hi
you're walking on the thin ice here... What T24 release are you on?

I am usins R17 TAFC,
it is not our design, and we can not change now,
I am looking for a parameter, a variable or anything that makes browser work like classic when OGM raises overrides,

also, note that ORD is populated properly, with status processed,

Hi
Temenos suppressed OGM usage in VERSIONs and I have an educated guess why.

It's extremely dangerous to proceed this way; you can trash things on the lowest level and never know about that.
Playing with variables is even more dangerous. You might find something but after next core update or upgrade it most probably will stop working. The fact of erroneous population of ORD is also quite disconcerting.

What's wrong with OPM? Yes I know it's asynchronous but adding a checker/reporter of processing isn't a huge task...

Last thought - you can refer to GTS.CONTROL field of VERSION to see different OFS behaviour when overrides are raised...
