The bank will use AA Loans and a Nostro account. All transactions will happen on the same day (booking date will be value date).

In my opinion, it doesn't make any difference to bank if they opt for Trade Date or Value Date Accounting as they will not have any contingent items (excluding the contingent asset types associated with AA).

Can anyone think of a compelling reason to opt for Value Dated over Trade Dated (I am inclined to go with Trade Dated as it is the default setting on ACCOUNT.PARAMETER)?
