How to check culumn DATATYPE to create index was created by jakadam

Hi T24 community,

a quick question please,

i have to create a promoted column and indexe how could i determine if the datatype is NUMBER or VARCHAR2, i know that t24 store data as string on DB, but i saw some indexes created with NUMBER as dataype.
