No TAFJ Perspective in Design Studio was created by girish3110
Hi,

I have Design Studio without the TAFJ perspective available. Is there a way to configure it with the available plugins/jars from R19?

Try the following.

1. Before you install your TAFJ and DesignStudio in your Local PC create a Folder say
C:\DS for Eg and then go to Windows Defender and put this Folder in the Exclusions list
2. This step is done so that some Jars dont get deleted because it is assumed to be like a Virus.
3. Especially a file by name TemenosSecurity.jar gets deleted because of this. This file usually resides under

DesignStudio\t24-binaries\com\temenos\tafj\TemenosSecurity\18.4.0\
4. Once you have put the folder in the exception list now extract the Design Studio zip file inside c:\DS folder.
5. In the Dropins folder there is a tafj.link file. inside that file, set the path=c:\TAFJ\eclipse folder so that all the Jars

are automatically picked up from the TAFJ eclipse plugins folder directly and whenever new Jars are updated in

these folder.
6. Launch Design Studio.exe file and wait for some time as it may take time to open and choose the default

workspace that is set already.
7. In the windows environment make sure that the Folders you create does not contain spaces in it. Folder names

with Spaces usually have problems in Windows Platforms. Eg. Program Files(x64)
8. Now you should be able to see the TAFJ perspective inside Design Studio
